Meet the 90-year-old turtle

Known for its slow behavior, the tortoise is also known for its long life, today we are introducing you to a long-lived turtle that is 90 years old.

Filmed in the San Marcos River in the US state of Texas, this turtle is, at first glance, known to be a strange creature, and has caused fireballs on its body.

Experts based on the same moss estimated that the turtle is about 90 years old. The turtle was filmed by a student who was there in connection with his university assignment.
The tortoise is one of the oldest creeping creatures on earth. It came into existence on our earth some 21 million years ago.

The average age of turtles is very long. Usually a turtle can be 30 to 50 years old. Some turtles also get up to 100 years old. The longest algae record in sea turtles is 152 years.

The tortoise is found on all continents of the world except the continent Antarctica. The reason for this is the coldest and freezing season here, which is unbearable for turtles.

In fact, turtles are cold-blooded creatures, meaning they can change their body temperature depending on the weather, but it's impossible for them to adapt to the icy climate of Antarctica.
